AMOUR BOOKS

Rhonda began her career in the health industry as a registered nurse. After many years of nursing, she returned to study with a desire to enter the welfare sector and work alongside families and high-risk adolescents. She continued to study part-time and became a workplace trainer and assessor before facilitating the delivery of the nationally recognised Community Services training program. Rhonda attended workshops and trained in a variety of areas such as family violence, trauma

and emotions, trauma and brain development, stress and the brain, supporting children with trauma, mental health support, life after loss and responding to challenging behaviours. In 2023, Rhonda published three gratitude and empowerment books in a series called A Little Book of Lovely, believing positive words and assertions are a gateway to change,

inner strength and peace.

Beyond her professional experience, Rhonda's true passion lies in social justice and empowering children. This led her to foster adolescents with complex trauma for 16 years. She considers it a privilege to have been a part of these young

people's lives, witnessing their resilience and determination to overcome obstacles and break generational cycles.

Rhonda firmly believes in the power of self-worth and the simplicity of layering to influence our mental and physical health.
